The nation waits

The nation awaits Amber Rudd’s resignation. Dinner is cleared from tables, families settle on sofas. It’s hard to express how little sympathy I have for Rudd, but it is supremely ironic that this Tory will fall on her sword while the like of Davis and Johnson caper on.
