Looking at my site through time via the Wayback Machine is an impossibly melancholy process – all those people in the comments, all those lives, where are they now? Observation one: pre-hamburger, pre-mobile navigation menus are generous and helpful; now, navigation can be a conjuror’s exercise in hiding and removing things.
